We are looking for a skilled and reliable Assistant Catering Manager to support operations at a Healthwise healthcare environment. This role supports the Catering Manager in delivering safe, nutritious, and high-quality food services while ensuring strict compliance with hygiene, safety, and healthcare standards. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily kitchen and food service operations within a healthcare environment
- Manage staff schedules, attendance, and performance
- Ensure compliance with healthcare hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP and Healthwise protocols)
- Monitor food quality, portion control, and dietary requirements
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and cost management
- Support client and patient service delivery standards
- Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards in line with healthcare regulations

Qualifications:
- Relevant hospitality or catering qualification
- 2–5 years’ experience in catering or food services
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Must have completed at least a grade 12 / secondary education
- Experience in a healthcare or hospital environment (advantageous)
