Applications are invited from suitably qualified personnel to fill in the position of Assistant Food and Beverage Controller and the successful candidate will be based at The Rainbow Towers Hotel & HICC.
The position reports to the Food and Beverage Controller.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct daily bars stocktakes.
- Month end and annual stocktaking
- Spot-check fridges and freezers in kitchens, bars and stores to ensure that stocks are being accounted for properly.
- Conducts float and Cash spot-checks.
- Compute all operating expenses on a weekly basis, compare with budgets and advise management accordingly.
- Daily and month end cost of sales percentages computation.
- Analyse all purchases done from time to time with a view to positively influence cost of sales
- Ensure all invoices being captured have required supporting documents.
- Production of Cost of sales flash reports as and when required.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Cost Accounting biased degree or equivalent
- 1-2 years’ experience in a busy city hotel or FMCG
- Working knowledge of OPERA, ACCPAC, Micros POS and materials control systems
- Superior analytical and investigative skills.
- Should be an assertive person of unquestionable integrity.
