We are seeking a responsible and vigilant Assistant Security Manager to ensure the safety and security of company premises, staff, guests, and property. The successful candidate will maintain a secure environment by monitoring, patrolling, and enforcing security procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol and monitor premises regularly to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or theft
- Control access to the facility by checking identification and authorizing entry
- Monitor surveillance systems and report suspicious activity
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies
- Write and submit accurate daily security reports and incident logs
- Enforce company security policies and procedures
- Supervise and coordinate security guards (for Supervisor role)
- Conduct inspections of security equipment and report faults
- Liaise with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
Requirements / Qualifications
- Grade 12 certificate (minimum)
- Security training certificate or relevant qualification (added advantage)
- Proven experience in security services (at least 2–3 years preferred)
- Strong observation and reporting skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Physical fitness and ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends
- High level of integrity and discipline
- Clean record
Added Advantage
- Experience in hospitality
- First Aid or Fire Safety training
- Supervisory experience (for Security Supervisor role)
