Job Description
Job Duties:
- Aggressively grow the Retail Portfolio
- Prepare a training plan for team members
- Organize market storms to create awareness of the products
- Organize AGMs for all products
- Ensures that all stakeholders receive their reports promptly
- Responsible for customer account and relationship management for key client segments;
- Responsible for client prospecting, acquisition and retention
- Responsible for the design and roll out of new products
- Plan and carry out marketing activities for investment products;
- Understanding the needs of the end customer and provide appropriate financial solutions;
- Identify new business development opportunities.
- Generate and monitor pipeline of investment opportunities;
- Providing investment thought leadership across a wide range of asset classes;
- Preparing fund management proposals and making presentations to potential and existing clients;
- Responsible for sales activity planning, including reviewing existing customers files to identify sales opportunities;
- All other duties as may be assigned by the Head, FSL
Job Requirements/Skill Set:
- Be licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission as an investment adviser
- Has a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Banking, Investment management, Economics, Accounting or finance related field
- Should have successfully completed the Ghana Stock Exchange exams
- Has over 5years experience in the Fund Management Industry
- Strong analytical/evaluation skills gained in investment management; preferably from on-the-job experience and exposure of a front office role;
- Must be organized and a quick thinker,
- Must have good relationship-building skills and be a team player;
- Knowledge regarding the various asset classes and its pricing
- Good writing and presentation skills;
