Freelance Independent Auditor (Short-Term Contract)

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and reconcile internal records and documentation.
  
• Identify and investigate discrepancies, inconsistencies, or potential control weaknesses.
  
• Conduct interviews with relevant individuals in a professional and impartial manner.
  
• Maintain strict confidentiality throughout the assignment.
  
• Prepare a detailed written report outlining findings, observations, and supporting evidence.
  
• Provide recommendations to strengthen internal controls where appropriate.
  

Requirements:

•  Proven experience in auditing, forensic accounting, investigations, compliance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting or auditing qualifications (such as ICA Ghana, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent) are preferred.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and maintain neutrality.
  
• High standards of integrity and confidentiality.
