To provide expert pharmaceutical care, ethical medication dispensing, and clinical counseling to our community. This role is designed for a disciplined professional who will drive clinical excellence and operational efficiency under the supervision of the Superintendent Pharmacist.

Key Duties

  • Clinical Dispensing: Review and dispense prescriptions with 100% accuracy, ensuring patients receive the correct medication, dosage, and usage instructions.
  • Patient Counseling: Provide professional advice on drug interactions, side effects, and chronic disease management (Hypertension, Diabetes, etc.).
  • Inventory Integrity: Supervise stock levels using the FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) protocol. Perform regular inventory audits and ensure zero "avoidable" expiries.
  • Regulatory Documentation: Maintain meticulous records in the Prescription Book and Controlled Drug (Narcotic) Register in strict accordance with PCN and NAFDAC guidelines.
  • Digital Operations: Use our ERP systems (Odoo/Zoho) for real-time sales entry, inventory tracking, and clinical documentation.
  • Public Health Engagement: Lead the clinical side of our "Health Awareness Days" (e.g., World Malaria Day, World Heart Day) through patient education and screening.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Accuracy: Achieve ≥ 99.9% dispensing accuracy (Zero tolerance for clinical errors).
  • Compliance: 100% audit-ready documentation for all controlled substances.
  • Inventory: Maintain optimal stock-on-hand levels and minimize waste through proactive monitoring.
  • Service Excellence: Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings through empathetic and professional counseling.

Requirements

  • Qualification: Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or PharmD from a recognized institution.
  • Licensing: Must possess a current Annual Practicing License from the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in retail pharmacy or hospital practice.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Pharmacy Management Software (Odoo, Zoho, or similar ERPs) and Microsoft Office.
