Job Description

• Purpose of the job: To assist with general and technical assistance that ensures the overall effectiveness of equipment and plant on site.
• Assist with carrying out of preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment Installation and project work as required
• Report any defects noticed while performing normal functions
• Assist tradespeople with electrical, plumbing or HVAC repairs
• Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks
• Technical assistance
• Perform maintenance and light repairs
• Undertake light installation
• Housekeeping
• Visually inspect all working parts of the complete system, which includes the steam valves and header pipes and water treatment system, for proper and safe operation

Qualification Requirements

• Matric

Experience Requirements

• 1 - 3 years’ experience in a FMCG environment

• Required to work shifts and be on standby
• Overtime expected from time to time
• Work with and on heavy equipment and plant (mechanical and electrical)
