Management and development of the Retail and Corporate portfolio
Coordinate with RMs, ROs and other stakeholders in Retail and Corporate sales activities.
To become the preferred point of contact both externally and internally for Financial Markets sales activities.
Explore and define the business opportunities in the Financial Markets sales function with a focus on Retail and Corporates business unit.
Play a leading role in the drive to increase Fidelity Bank’s sources of FX and FI business
4. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide Financial Markets solutions to Retail and Corporate clients to meet client’s desired FX and investment needs and growing the bank’s share of the wallet.
- Trading with customers directly is required.
- Manage spreads to generate income from FX transactions and input transactions on the blotter in a timely and accurate manner; be innovative with FX purchases and FX allocation per SBU adhere to SLAs (cut-off times for position passing, reconciliation); ensure data on blotter tallies with data in flexcube.
- Develop close contacts and work closely with Retail and Corporate Desk Heads to maximize revenue for existing and new clients; identify prospects and clients requiring Financial Markets services; develop call plans, prepare proposals, finalize sales, and oversee implementation of services.
- Promote the expansion and penetration of Financial Markets business into existing customers and expand the customer base for Retail and Corporates.
- Meet various volume profitability targets as set:
- Ensure Fidelity Bank Ghana policies, procedures, relevant credit and dealer limits, and regulatory standards are always adhered to.
- Take an active role in your own training and development plan.
- Compile an annual portfolio business plan and ensure that regular weekly and monthly feedback on performance on performance is circulated to all stakeholders.
- Maintain a high level of client satisfaction by generating, managing, and servicing the Financial Markets needs of Retail and Corporate clients and prospects.
- Support the community of professionals that work at the Bank by promoting and practicing a One Team approach to accomplishing duties, goals, and objectives.
- Interact with bank management and clients as appropriate with sufficient independence, visibility, and authority to effectively manage all areas of responsibility.
