Position:
Human Resource Officer (School-based)
Location:
East Legon Hills, Greater Accra Region, Ghana
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, and exit processes
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with school and regulatory standards
- Maintain accurate staff records and ensure compliance with labour laws and school policies
- Coordinate staff performance management, appraisals, and professional development programs
- Handle employee relations issues with professionalism and confidentiality
- Support payroll administration and staff welfare initiatives
- Advise school leadership on HR best practices and workforce planning
- Promote a positive and inclusive work environment
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in HR, preferably in an educational setting
- Strong knowledge of labour laws and HR best practices
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems
