Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Meeting with hiring managers to discuss their requirements and specifications for candidates.
  • Interviewing candidates, assessing their qualifications, and recommending them to hiring.
  • Creating and maintaining databases of potential candidates, including resumes, cover letters, and other pertinent information, such as motivation for leaving previous jobs.
  • Interacting with candidates to understand their interests and motivations and whether they would be a good fit for the company culture.
  • Communicating regularly with hiring managers to ensure that they are satisfied with the progress of the recruiting process.
  • Contacting applicants' nominated referees to ascertain their work ethic and experience.
  • Collecting and reviewing applications to shortlist candidates.
  • Conducting background checks to ensure that candidates are fit for appointment.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant HR certifications (e.g. CIPD, SHRM,PHRi,SPHRi) are a plus.
  • 4-6 years of progressive HR experience, preferably with at least 2 years in a client-facing or consultancy role.
  • Strong understanding of HR outsourcing models, clients servicing, and SLA Management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
  • Sound knowledge of Ghanaian Labour Laws and HR compliance standards.
