Job Description

Provide Job Responsibilities

1. Client Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients operating in the Agribusiness and Non-Traditional Export (NTE) Segment.
  • Act as a trusted financial advisor, identifying client needs across the agricultural and NTE value chains.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of external partners, including logistics companies, freight forwarders, and regulatory bodies.

2. Financial & Credit Appraisal

  • Conduct financial and credit assessments, including farm-level or business-level cash flow analysis.
  • Structure customized financial solutions such as agricultural loans, trade finance, working capital, and foreign exchange (FX) facilities.
  • Monitor portfolio health to minimize Non-Performing Loans (NPLs) and ensure adherence to credit policies

3. Export & Trade Facilitation

  • Advise clients on international trade regulations, export documentation, and customs compliance for target destinations.
  • Support clients with supply chain management, shipping logistics, and distribution coordination.
  • Mitigate risk in international trade by utilizing tools like letters of credit, export guarantees, and trade credit insurance.

4. Business Development & Market Intelligence

  • Source and acquire new agricultural and export-oriented clients.
  • Maintain deep, localized knowledge of commodity prices, crop cycles, weather patterns, and government agricultural policies to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Cross-sell the institution’s full suite of banking and insurance products.

Candidate Profile

Education:

A bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

Experience:

5+ years of experience in corporate/SME banking, agricultural finance, or international trade management.

Credit Acumen:

Proven ability to analyze complex financial statements, validate cash flows, and structure credit facilities.

Industry Knowledge:

Understanding of agricultural supply chains, seasonal crop cycles, and the specific challenges faced by agricultural exporters.

Skills:

Strong negotiation, communication, risk analysis, and stakeholder management skills
