Relationship Manager (Public Sector)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with corporate clients to achieve business and profitability targets.
• Understand clients' business needs, industry trends, opportunities, and risks to provide tailored banking solutions.
• Drive business development through cross-selling and identifying new revenue opportunities.
• Ensure effective credit and risk management by monitoring client portfolios and supporting credit proposals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
• Deliver exceptional client service and resolve issues that may impact customer satisfaction.
• Coach and support Relationship Officers while fostering effective team collaboration.
• Contribute to budgeting, target setting, and financial performance management within Corporate Banking.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Proactively recommend improvements to processes, systems, and client service delivery to support business growth.

Job Requirements / Candidate Profile

• MBA or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years' banking experience, preferably in Corporate Banking.
• Strong credit analysis and risk management capabilities.
• Sound understanding of corporate banking products, financial services, and market dynamics.
• Proven relationship management, business development, and cross-selling skills.
• Strong leadership, team-building, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
