- Work across the organizations’ focal points to identify media moments, success stories, develop and implement relevant materials and media outreach.
- Develop and implement a communication strategy that includes media outreach and social media content creation.
- Generate innovative ways to gain quality media coverage across all channels.
- Initiate, draft, edit communications materials, including press kits, fact sheets, infographics and multimedia products.
- Advise colleagues on media relations and handle media inquiries;
- Development and maintenance of media contacts and lists;
- Plan and lead the creation of strategic digital communication content material (email/ blog/ social media channels).
- Manage internal and external digital communications (SEO content writing).
- Manage the brand’s digital image/ presence.

- Draft and distribute media advisories, news releases and other materials and design and organize media events, as appropriate, to promote activities of the organization;
- Advise and assist colleagues to include media outreach activities such as interviews or press briefings.
- Provide access for journalists to subject matter experts;
- Provide effective and timely responses to public information inquiries; and
- Provide timely strategic advice and creative solutions for dealing with sensitive communications issues and stories.

- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a communications role, with strong exposure to media relations, corporate communications, and digital communications.
- Proven experience developing and implementing communication strategies, including media engagement and digital content planning.
- Strong ability to identify and develop media-worthy stories, success stories, and organizational highlights.
- Demonstrated experience drafting, editing, and producing communication materials including press releases, media advisories, fact sheets, press kits, blog articles, scripts, and social media content.
- Strong knowledge of media engagement processes, including managing media inquiries, coordinating interviews, and arranging press conferences/briefings.
- Experience building and maintaining strong relationships with journalists, media houses, and external partners.
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences and platforms.
- Proven ability to manage digital communication channels including website content, email communications, blogs, and social media platforms.
- Strong understanding of SEO content writing and online brand visibility management.
- Experience planning and coordinating marketing events, outdoor activations, and virtual events/webinars.
- Strong proofreading and editing skills with high attention to detail and quality assurance.
- Experience using digital analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Insights, LinkedIn Analytics) to track performance and report on communication campaigns.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality outputs under tight deadlines.
