Video Editor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Video Editor to join our team at a sports betting company in Ghana. The role focuses on producing, editing, and managing video and basic graphic content related to sports and betting information for digital platforms. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, trend-aware, and capable of delivering high-quality content within set timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Write, review, and improve video scripts in line with approved content direction and internal guidelines.
• Edit and produce videos based on approved scripts, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely delivery.
• Monitor basic performance data and prepare regular reports.
• Create daily graphic assets such as video covers, match visuals, banners, and basic informational graphics when required.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience in video editing or post-production, with a strong understanding of video specifications, content rules, and platform guidelines for major social media platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Media & Communication, Film/TV Production, Animation, Digital Arts, Multimedia, or a related field.
• Ability to independently manage the video production workflow from script editing to final output.
• Proficiency in video editing and design tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, Photoshop, or equivalent software; familiarity with AI-assisted editing tools is an advantage.
• Strong ability to identify relevant sports-related trends and respond quickly with appropriate video content.
• Strong interest in sports, particularly football, and familiarity with common sports content formats.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work well within a team; capable of working in a fast-paced environment and available for shift work, including weekends and public holidays.
